Williamson Ltd. Es wurden Taschenuhren aller Art sowie Tischuhren produziert. Auf Grund des bestehenden Bahnanschlusses investierte und expandierte die H. Williamson Ltd. weiter in Büren und baute den Standort als internationale Niederlassung weiter aus. Ab 1916 verwendete Henry Williamson die Signatur „Büren Watch Co.“ Später waren die Zifferblätter auch mit Acme signiert. Der Name der Firma ist dem Ort, in der Sie zu Hause war entnommen. Es ist Büren an der Aare in der Schweiz.Als die H. Williamson Ltd. durch einen Börsencrash in finanzielle Schwierigkeiten geriet, mußte sie in Liquidation gehen. Eine Gruppe beschaffte das notwendige Kaptial, um unter Schweizer Leitung und dem neuen Namen Uhrenfabrik Buren AG weiterhin Uhren entwickeln und herstellen zu können.Neben vielen Bahnbrechenden Entwicklungen der Uhrenfabrik Buren AG sei diese genannt: Das Microrotor Werk Caliber 1000 . Das erste Automatikwerk der Welt mit einem Rotor in der Werksebene. Dieses wurde 1954 patentiert. Es war gerade 4.2mm hoch.
