The memovox E 855 became the first automatic alarm watch with a calendar function.It runs with the automatic manufacture calibre 825. It was introduced in 1959 and would be produced by JLC until 1969 with approximately 67,000 units.It's “bumper” movements with an automatic oscillating rotor that rotates approximately 270 degrees back and forth with coiled springs for the rotor to bounce back and forth between. This edition is the rarer 37mm jumbo version, with silver dial and steel radium dauphine hands.The stainless steel case is in superbe shape, and both crowns are original and signed.The movement runs well and alarm is clear and functionning.
